Turning a Bitch into a Heroine

Today at the Pink Fuzzy Slipper Writers, I'm blogging about redeeming a bitchy character... well, just because I could. I waved my writer wand, and bingo! The bitch became a sweetheart. (If only it was that easy in real life. I would love to magic myself into sweetheart-hood sometimes.)

Also I'm giving away the last two free downloads of To Rescue or Ravish? from Harlequin.com, so come on over to the Pink Fuzzies and leave a comment for a chance to win.

Beet Slaw and Two Giveaways!

Today I'm at Cheryl St. John's blog with my Beet Slaw recipe. Try it -- it's different and very tasty! Don't let my lousy photography deter you. :)

I'm also giving away 2 downloads of To Rescue or Ravish? from Harlequin.com. The free download codes expire at the end of the month, so I'm dying to give them away.

TABLOIDS OF THE REGENCY

Today I'm at the Harlequin Historical Authors blog to talk about CARICATURES, the Regency equivalent of tabloid newspapers. Come tell me what you think of the tabloids! One lucky commenter will win a free download of To Rescue or Ravish?.

The Unpredictable Muse!

Today I'm visiting at Ellis Vidler's Unpredictable Muse (I love that title). Once a month, she invites three authors to each write 150 words about the same photo. It's a fun exercise, and the results are fascinating -- such different takes on the same prompt. :~)

In other news, Henry the Might-Be-A-Kromfolrlander saw five rabbits on our walk (although two may have been duplicates), and even jumped off the boardwalk to chase one. Poor baby, he never succeeds (unlike Jane the Cat, who can catch ANYTHING that moves).

It's Release Day!! To Rescue or Ravish? is now available from Harlequin, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million
This story is a sequel to Notorious Eliza -- it's about the girl at the beginning of that story who had a tantrum and yelled at her maid. She seemed pretty terrible at the time, but it turns out she's actually a heroine...

When heiress Arabella Wilbanks flees a forced betrothal in the middle of the night, the last person she expects to find at the reins of her getaway hackney is Matthew Worcester.  It’s been seven long years since they gave in to their mutual desires and shared the most incredible night of their lives, but Matthew still burns with regret for leaving her without a word.  He should escort her to safety, but the chance to re-claim and ravish her once more is proving  impossible to resist!
