Over at the Pink Fuzzies today, I'm talking about how medieval Books of Hours inspired me to write this story. Usually I don't remember where my inspiration comes from, but this time, I had it in physical form as a reminder -- a facsimile Book of Hours. I've always loved these beautiful, illuminated books.

Gloriana, the heroine, is completely obnoxious in the previous book in the series, Love and the Shameless Lady, and she really needed redeeming. To my surprise, she turned out to be quite a religious woman. She made a holy vow on her precious Book of Hours to love French marquis Philippe de Bellechasse forever, and then everything went wrong. But she couldn't break her vow, could she....?

I'm sooooo excited that The Redemption of the Shrew (Book 4 in the Scandalous Kisses series) will finally be published on July 25! It was a long time in the writing process, partly for personal reasons and partly because Gloriana, the heroine, really did need redeeming. She was so awful in Love and the Shameless Lady....

A Ghostly Mystery Romance Novella and a New Release!

It's hard to believe that almost six months have gone by since I blogged here. I've been taking some personal time...

But now at last, it's almost release date for The Redemption of the Shrew, which is Book 4 in the Scandalous Kisses series.  It was a long time in the writing, as I did my best to redeem the obnoxious Gloriana Warren, who was a secondary character in Love and the Shameless Lady.
