We had a lot of rain early this fall, and consequently many, many mushrooms!

 

Mushroom invasion.... These ones fold up at dusk and are all but invisible, then open up again at dawn.

I love the formal manners of the Regency era...but sometimes they can be a bit too much. Today I'm at Collette Cameron's blog discussing formality, with particular reference to how well it's portrayed in the BBC series Pride and Prejudice (yes, the one starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, which I simply can't get enough of, in common with a great many other people).
