Today I'm at Embracing Romance lamenting about love scenes -- both reading and writing them. I'm looking for advice and recommendations, so come on over and tell me what you think about this burning issue! ;)

We're also playing a historical trivia game over at the blog. My question today is about a bit of sensual tension from one of my novellas, The Unrepentant Rake.
England, 1802
Beatrix March chose to be a governess
rather than let an overbearing husband rule her. Even though she never
intends to marry, it doesn't mean she can't enjoy a man's...company
—especially when presented with one as tempting as notorious rake Simon
Carling!
Simon doesn't usually seduce virtuous governesses, but
Beatrix is unlike any woman he's ever encountered. Her luscious curves
were made to grace a man's bed, and he's never denied himself such
satisfaction before.
Flouting society's tedious conventions, in
favor of thrilling chemistry, may force Beatrix and Simon to contemplate
the unthinkable—marriage!
Do come and join me and the other Embracing Romance authors for a lot of fun and great stories.

ROMANCE OF THE TOE BONE!
Okay, so that's not the real title of my new Undone. I knew Harlequin wouldn't let me use that. What sort of pictures does it conjure up for you? Funny? Or gruesome?
My new little e-novella, which is actually called THE UNREPENTANT RAKE, isn't gruesome at all. The toe bone is a holy relic, and today I'm at Mia Marlowe's blog talking about it, as well as giving away a free download:

My New Cover and the Advent Calendar Giveaway

Starting November 30th, Harlequin Historical authors are having another holiday giveaway! We had so much fun last year that we just had to do it again. Each participating author chose a day on the calendar to run her own individual contest, and there’s also a grand prize from all entries throughout the contest – a Kindle Fire! For the contest calendar, go here. For the rules, go here. The more days you enter, the better your chance of winning the Kindle Fire!
Here's the cover for my January Undone! They painted the hero's hair red just for me. :) This is the sequel to The Wanton Governess, and it was so much fun to write. ;~))
