Release day, a giveaway, and inspired by the Book of Hours

At last, it's release day for The Redemption of the Shrew -- my first new full-length release in over 18 months. I hope you will enjoy it.

Over at the Pink Fuzzies today, I'm talking about how medieval Books of Hours inspired me to write this story. Usually I don't remember where my inspiration comes from, but this time, I had it in physical form as a reminder -- a facsimile Book of Hours. I've always loved these beautiful, illuminated books.

Gloriana, the heroine, is completely obnoxious in the previous book in the series, Love and the Shameless Lady, and she really needed redeeming. To my surprise, she turned out to be quite a religious woman. She made a holy vow on her precious Book of Hours to love French marquis Philippe de Bellechasse forever, and then everything went wrong. But she couldn't break her vow, could she....?
